Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
